U.S. Mint, cowboys & firing range [BX3862]

This is a great vintage video that shows how coins are minted, pretty much the same way they are done today. It’s amusing how the narator gives commentary at times that would be considered sexist today.

Example “Women control the Nations purse strings, so it is fitting that the making of coins is under the supervision of a woman” Noting that Mrs. Nellie Tayloe Ross was the director of the mint and costodian of the gold and silver stores.
